Egyptian Isis, Queen of Heaven, Star of the Ocean, Mistress of Magic and Protector of Women. In flight above the becalmed Cosmic Ocean that gave her birth, Isis bears the lotus wand of fertility, while the sacred Blue Lotus of Immortality blooms at her feet. Her son Horus and Ra the Sun God watch from above. The cartouche contains the glyphs of the Goddess: a throne and loaf of bread. [John, 2006]
In Greek mythology, the Horae or Hours were the three goddesses of the seasons: Eunomia (Order), Dike (Justice),and Eirene (Peace). Eirene was the goddess associated with peace, prosperity, and wealth. The Romans called her 'Pax'. [John, 2004]
