Updated and expanded for Hero Wars, The Garhound Contests return! Heroes must strive to do their very best through seven days of intense competition, testing their courage, wits, and skill in a variety of different contests to decide the Garhound Champion. Yet powerful outside forces have also gathered, hoping to turn the festival to their own ends.
In 2001, I had the pleasure of working with Ian Thomson and a large team of motivated and hungry trollkin to make MOB's classic Sun County scenario, The Garhound Contests available to the tribe. Fully updated and expanded for Hero Wars, the scenario is now available for free download from Issaries as four Adobe Acrobat format files.
The Garhound Contests provide an excellent introduction to the mechanics of the Hero Wars system, and can be played by parties from almost any pantheon. It's a classic adventure.
